In late 1969, a diverse group of London musicians gathered at Trident Studios to record a unique, one-off album for the Fontana Records label. The record is extraordinary. Yet, it went unnoticed, and the members of ONE returned to their regular work as session musicians. Each of them boasts an impressive musical background; Alan Marshall alone is a figure worthy of several programs dedicated entirely to him. Drummer Conrad Isidore spent all of 1970 with Manfred Mann Chapter Three and played with Chris Stainton, Joe Cocker, the band Hanson, and the elite session group Hummingbird.
