Rondalla Rondador is a group that explores danceable rhythms and melodies from Ecuador—and other parts of the world—equipped simply with Casiotone keyboards, güiro, bass, congas, and drums.

“Cumbia de los Patines” is Rondalla Rondador’s version of the original song “Cumbia Totorona” by Polibio Mayorga.

This song was released in Mexico on 7″ vinyl by Latin Records, who titled it “La Cumbia De Los Patines – Los Tiernos De Colombia.” It was played at Mexican sound system parties and nicknamed “La cumbia de los patines.”
