Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Marcos Roberto Dias Cardoso began his musical journey around the mid-60s Jovem Guarda movement, heavily influenced by the “British Invasion,” launching his solo career in 1966 with a long trajectory as a melodic pop artist and ballad composer.

Even so, in 1971, stepping somewhat away from his usual style, he left us with these two gems that have remained hidden for a long time: “O Prisioneiro,” a stunning mid-tempo psychedelic track, and “Quem Pôs Tanta Coisa Em Sua Cabeça,” a true popsike jewel with a delightful melody that transports you to other worlds.
