Despu\u00e9s de alcanzar el \u00e9xito internacional con su primer \u00e1lbum, Barrab\u00e1s experimentan algunos cambios importantes: Fernando Arbex, cada vez m\u00e1s ocupado con su labor de compositor y productor, deja las baquetas en mano del bater\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Moll (que hab\u00eda sido acompa\u00f1aba de Juan y Junior) y tras un accidente, el bajista y cantante I\u00f1aki Ega\u00f1a es sustituido por Jos\u00e9 Luis Tejada, un potente vocalista que proven\u00eda del grupo beat barcelon\u00e9s Los No. Adem\u00e1s, el guitarrista Miguel Morales se pasa al bajo.<\/p>\n

Para este su segundo disco, Arbex decide volver a usar los estudios madrile\u00f1os de RCA con J. Cobos como ingeniero de sonido y \u00e9l mismo como productor y principal compositor. Destacan \u201cMr. Money\u201d (puro funk-rock que lleg\u00f3 a las listas de \u00e9xitos en USA), la atmosf\u00e9rica \u201cThe Horse\u201d, el puro funk-psicod\u00e9lico de \u201cTime To Love\u201d o la pegadiza \u201cChildren\u201d, que arras\u00f3 en Latinoam\u00e9rica, convirti\u00e9ndose en todo un himno en Venezuela.
\u201cPower\u201d se public\u00f3 en 1973 envuelto en una portada gatefold que mostraba al grupo maquillado al m\u00e1s puro estilo glam-rock.<\/p>\n
