After recording their first 45, the proto-punk MC5\/Stones sounding \u201cFeel It\u201d, the band started working on their first album with the tandem of Jed MacKay and Rick McKim as main songwriters. \u201cIt\u2019s All Meat\u201d was released in 1970 and offered a powerful mix of garage-rock, psychedelia and early hard-rock, drawing influences from bands like the Stones, Country Joe & The Fish, Doors, Velvet Underground\u2026tracks like \u201cRoll My Own\u201d or the lysergic \u201cCrying Into The Deep Lake\u201d are now considered classics of the genre.
