Led by saxophonist Marco Fajardo, Bandejas Espaciales has spent nearly a decade shaping one of the most distinctive sounds to emerge from Bogot\u00e1's contemporary tropical underground. Drawing from Colombian and Caribbean rhythms, the seven-piece filters cumbia, dub, psychedelia and free improvisation through echo chambers, heavy bass lines and warped studio textures, creating hypnotic instrumentals built equally for deep listening and the dance floor. The group brings together musicians connected to some of Colombia's most influential independent projects, including Frente Cumbiero, Romperayo, La BOA and La 33. This creative exchange has made Bandejas Espaciales an essential part of the Bogot\u00e1 scene while maintaining a singular musical identity. The A-side, \"Duberman,\" is a deep, brass-driven psychedelic dub inspired by Guadeloupean composer Claude Rolcin's Colas La. Layers of echo, swirling horns and spacious rhythms unfold into a mesmerizing groove that has become one of the band's signature pieces. On the flip side, \"Salamandra\" expands the journey with another immersive excursion through tropical psychedelia, propelled by hypnotic percussion, adventurous arrangements and the band's unmistakable collective energy."}
