OUT OF FOCUS
Cat. No. : SIR4006
The Munich band OUT OF FOCUS is one of the international best known German rock bands of the early seventies. With their colourful mix of rock, jazz and prog they sat quite trends and helped to make the term Krautrock become a trademark.
The band formed in the late Sixties in Munich, took part in a band competition in 1970 in the then trendy disco " Blow Up", and convinced the Nuremberg based Kuckuck label such that immediately followed a record contract. Three albums were released subsequently at Kuckuck: "Wake Up, " "Out Of Focus" and "Four Letter Monday Afternoon". Now the band was constantly on the move and played whole europe. After the release of the third record the band moved back to the country. In Herrsching the musicians and their families lived and worked together. An own recording studio was set up. Here in 1974 the recordings of the fourth album "Not Too Late" took place. (A detailed portrait of the country life and the creation of the album is included on an additional sheet . Look into the sleeve of the record. A real time document).
